It all sounds like everything is going great there, I'm excited to keep seeing PICTURES and hearing STORIES.... maybe from people other than mom and grandma and aunt shell? haha, just kidding, I know you all are super busy, getting everything put together for a new missionary, and getting ready for graduation. Mason, keep mom calm and happy, ok? Just make her smile and help her run errands and what not. This week, I'll be honest, was not super cerazy or eventful. Obviously there were miracles, and funny things, but most of the week was members qinging us dinner or lunch (because Sister Miller was leaving) and exchanges (had a couple of those) and General Conference... which was awesome! Matt I felt this conference was SOOOOOOO short. But Saturday morning we held a investigator breakfast, the elders' idea, and it was really cool. I'll send some pictures. It was a ton of fun! French toast, pancakes, M&Ms, bacon, fruit, and eggs. And the kitchen was a MESS but we cleaned it up in 20 minutes and got downstairs just in time to watch General Conference.... in chinese. It started in chinese so then someone came and had to mess with it for a little but eventually we got it in English :) #TaiwanMissionaryProblems scenes from our | This week was pretty great. I was really sad to see Sister Miller leave, not because she went home, because I know we'll see each other again and hang out, but because she was a really great missionary companion. Last week many members wanted to qing us, so we ate really well the last couple weeks. :) I'm really excited though to be companions with Sister Howell, I think it kinda freaked her out at first being called as a sister training leader, but I think she's learning that we are normal missionaries. It's so interesting, before being a STL I thought those sisters were just amazing and always knew what to do and say, but after a few transfers you realize, nope, just like everyone else we just do what we can and the Lord really does His work. We are always able to see cool miracles and I'm excited she is getting to meet the ward. Sister Howell is awesome! She has a ton of new experiences and I'm excited to really get to know her and work with her more... ther first week is always a little weird because you're working on meshing two new methods and experiences together. It's awesome though. In nankan we are doing great, just going to press forward and pick up the smart and hard work. Use the Book of Mormon more fully and pray really hard to find and set baptismal dates with investigators. I love the Book of Mormon! I love our life! I love you all so so so much! To eternity and back! Love, Sister Smith |
