I love you all so much! Easter weekend here wasn't huge because not many people know about it. And Conference is rebroadcast next week so I havent seen it yet. I'm so so excited to hear all the talks and receive revelation. Matt, I'm with you, they get shorter and shorter and Conference itself feels like it's shorter. This Saturday before the broadcast we are trying to host a breakfast.... it's a very American thing to do I think. I'm excited! It's just going to be great! This past week has been great, and full of emotions. Sister Miller is starting to feel it's real she is leaving and it is really hard to leave this area she has loved and worked in for months, She really loves the members and the members LOVE her. I'm so grateful for her example and will really try to keep that good relationship growing. | We have seen a lot of miracles in trying to set inspired goals and then make plans, and pray, and pray, and pray some more. On Saturdaywe were blessed to have 5 other lessons, find 3 new investigators, and meet with 3 LAs. I would say one of the biggest successes this week was in RCLA work. We called and tried to really meet with them and Heavenly Father provided a way! We met with 5 RCs and 4 LAs and then 5 LAs came to church, and 3 of those were Melchezidek priesthood holders! They actually are starting to mention maybe opening a new ward in NanKan... we just lack the number of MPH over here. SO we've reassessed our efforts and are really going to try to get those LAs coming back!!! It is a little challenging killing someone who had been here for so long. She doesn't want to go, I don't want her to go, and I've started really assessing my effort and energy to love and serve the members. I'm definitely excited for the next two transfers to keep learning and seeing this area grow. Its so amazing here! Lately in studies I've also redetermined my focus to be exactly obedient and to really try to encompass PMG teachings. It's been so great this last week working on that. I love it! Well, her last P-day here, she wants to go play, actually, the elders invited us to hang with them and a member for his birthday. So I'll talk to you more next week. I love you so so much! Some pictures are coming this week too.... Love, Sister Smith |
