Thank you family for the wonderful and many Birthday and Christmas gifts, especially for your love and desire to follow Christ. Christmas was so much fun and it was so much fun to talk to ya'll on Christmas! I've got a TON of pictures to send, so the actual email has to be a little short, but know that this week was awesome. baptisms:This week, was great, again. It was not usual, but it was so much fun and we both realy felt like the Spirit led us this week. We saw some super cool miracles this week, and Christmas was awesome. Zone conference was fun and our ward had 2 baptisms this week! Not our investigators, but one was a member who peikes for us ALL the time, her little brother was baptized yesterday. It was one of the best baptisms I've gone to... definitely the funniest. He is a funny guy and will be an awesome member! Miracle of Debbie:Another really cool miracle though, was meeting a lady, Debbie. She was just smoking and looking at us by the MRT station when we gave her a He is the Gift card and started talking to her. She dropped her cigarette and started crying, Sister Morris just gave her a big hug. We were able to pray with her and comfort her, help her feel of God's love and strength. Then we were both thinking it, and Sister Morris said, do you want to stop smoking? Debbie said she didn't think she could but we encouraged her and said we'd help her throw her pack away. We walked to a nearby member's sop and Debbie slowly walked in, walked to the trash and threw it away, then she turned to us and (in English) sai, "I win." And we were all just so happy and told her, yes, she did win. We are excited to keep in contact with her this week and meet with her and help her get ready for baptism. Gave her a Book of Mormon and she said she'd read it. She said wewere her angels.... I just loved the short 30 min. we spent with her, but it was one of the best feelings I've had during my mission. english class: WE LEARNED WEATHER VOCABULARY AND WHAT TO WEAR FOR DIFFERENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. | christmas miracles: This week we also were able to serve a member and build that relationship. I've been trying to help Sister Morris meet and build relations with more members so she'll have that good support when I move. And even though I lost my wallet, we had enough money to get through the week and seriously, I've never had so many qingke's in the same week. It was really so full of miracles this week those are just a couple of the highlights. Challenges, yes, counting numbers to report yesterday was hard, but we've decided to really strive to use our time effectively this next week and use the Book of Mormon in every contact. The Book of Mormon has so much power! Successes I felt outweighed the hard times this week. The little things. Sister Morris overcoming her fear of performing in front of people, more time to help Sister Morris know the area and streets, cute new investigator and formers working on the resurrection process.... :) I love my life, Thank you for the gifts, prayers and examples and love!
