our cute English class This week was pretty good! We had a miracle at inviting an Less Active member to the Thanksgiving activity, and he came! This is the miracle LA we found while contacting one day, just started talking to him on the side of the road and exchanged numbers. We really hope we can get him coming back to church but it was good for him to meet some members! He wanted to go with us the first time to the church, because he didn't know where it was and whatnot, which makes sense. Here's another miracle, we just felt weird meeting him at alone at the MRT and traveling together. He is in a wheelchair, we weren't sure if we'd run into problems, so after trying to find any brothers in the ward who could come too, we finally called the elders and they were able to come, talk to him, and sometimes, it is just nice to feel that secure feeling of, it's okay, preisthood holders are near. Brothers, father, uncles, always be worthy of that priesthood! I don't think anything bad would've happened if we hadn't been able to find anyone, but it just testified to me, I think of the comfort and blessings of following the Spirit. Sometimes, strange things happen here. A guy came to our activity, ate food, then waited around to take a photo with us, and left. Weird. Just, be ready for that, ok Matt? Marshall? Mason? .... just know you will be safe and everything works out.... but strange things happen :) haha! Sis. Morris and I | Cooking for Thanksgiving activity We didn't have many lessons this week, but Winnie came to church with us! Yeah, we're going to reboost with fire and diligence this week. We are super excited, and we have some people who could definitely be baptized in December! We've just got to get them to church and into the Book of Mormon. We were able to visit some members recently too and it was so great to talk, laugh, and encourage them. I just love this work! We ran into challenges this week, but saw great miracles and the weather was amazing! Lately my goal is still to finish D&C, I got a little distracted with the Book of Mormon https://www.lds.org/topics/book-of-mormon?lang=eng&query=book+of+Mormon and True to the Faith https://www.lds.org/manual/true-to-the-faith?lang=eng (not a bad thing, but I'm so close to finishing!). :) I'm determined to really show faith in prayers and action this week. Faith that there are 6 prepared people for us this week to meet. Focusing on not being afraid of man and just remembering the reason behind the work, the reason is Christ. That is reason enough to smile and serve and testify. I've also been praying and working on patience... funny how when you start praying and wanting patience, you are put in situations to wait and rely on Christ to not get anxious or frustrated! I love the Book of Mormon and love my companion! Sister Morris is amazing and loves, just loves!!!! I love her, and I'm so glad she will be taking over WanDa :) (That's our ward... we are the Da in WanDa--- DaTong District :D). I've got a new project I'm working on too... everyday Sister Morris and I take a picture together then I'll get them developed and glue them into this book I have, the book every night we write miracles or funny things/ quotes we saw/heard. Love you all so much! Eat a ton of pie and cake and turkey and cranberry sauce for me! Thank you for your love and support and encouragement! I am so thankful for you all! Love, Sister Smith |

During studies lately I've started the New Testament and I've for so much comfort in PMG and the Book of Mormon. I'm excited to develop my testimony of the Bible and understand more about Christ. I'm just loving being on a mission and particularly the journey to becoming a Preach my gospel missionary. I've lately set a goal to think about and use what I found in personal study throughout the day. Trying to everyday remember what I learned and apply. It's a long road, but Christ will help us accomplish all He commands us to do. The time is now! People are ready! There are people willing to hear the gospel and the Lord will help us find them.
Time's up. Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Sister Smith give you numbers, and really trying to balance out the finding and teaching with retaining and activating. My goal is to always be finding new ways to find people so we don't ever go back to 5-7 hours on the street each day... that's not effective missionary work. I have a better understanding now though of what we can do to help find, teach, baptize, retain, and activate. I'm so grateful I have
